This gas tank of fun is almost empty.

It has been three good years partying with the guys from New Brunswick. Lots of laughs, lots of beer and lots of fun.

This past week, most of them have been leaving Gaspe; heading home for good...I was down at Rez other night and spotted this pair of chainsaw-boots standing all alone, in a room in their old apartment #18. Artsy or not, this picture is a gem and a memory.

Was a pleasure meeting you guys. Perhaps, someday we'll meet again for a few beers and some laughs!

Bitchin' ride

This is Justin's baby.

Lot of hours, and hard work put into this '69 Ford Maverick. When Justin first bought the car, the man he got it from thought it would be a great idea to paint the car with a paintbrush, (which included boat paint).
Anyway, after the tedious job to remove all the old paint, he now has a beautiful car that he has made his own.

Lot of memories spent cruisin' around town in the 'ol Maverick. Lets hope there are many more.

Here's a little pic of it.  Posted by Hello

Dancing with Myself

I always like listening to a good song. Puts a big ole smile on your face doesn't it? Not one of those cheap gummy smiles. Its like a full-cheek, genuine to the tongue smile!! Ha!

Then once you have one of those, your day is set. Rock 'n' Roll all night long ya'know...<< I've never really understood that saying. I mean how much rockin', and rollin' can a person do? Songs are only 3min...or say 4min long. Once you've listened to a couple of those, you're done rockin' and ready to roll. Ha!

Started reading Great Expectations other day. So far the book reads well, and the story is starting to get interesting. That Pip kid is quite the character. Who names a kid Pip though? Even if it is just a nickname, its still pretty shitty. It would be non-stop harassment at school for a kid named Pip. I can just imagine the "Pippy Longstockings" or "Peter the Pipper" comments. Haha!
I don't think there is a way to make the name "Pip" look tough...there's no Pip Eastwood, or Pip Gonzalez, or even Pip Reynolds. Because it just doesn't work...Would take a mean type to pull that name off properly. Maybe someone who could actually Rock 'n' Roll all night long. Ya, he could do it.

Guns on both sides

Quote and pic from '76 film, Taxi Driver. Robet DeNiro, classic actor. One of my favorites.

"You talkin' to me? You talkin' to me? You talkin' to me? Then who the hell else are you talkin' to? You talkin' to me? Well, I'm the only one here. Who do the fuck do you think you're talking to? Oh, yeah? Ok. "

Cats~~~Kittens~~?~same thing

Snagged this pic off the net. Makes me think of our three cats when they were young.

Oh! To be young again eh? No cares in the world, no tie-me-downs, and no set-backs.

And who wouldn't want to look a raccoon in the face? They have that rad bandit look, only its permanent. So underrated. HAHA!!

Old Friends

A few pictures of some friends of mine, who now live out west in Alberta.

The first pic is Brent, taken at his prom with his girlfriend, April.
Brent left Gaspe in 1997, I was out to see him in '99. He was home in 2000, and I have yet to see him since. Hopefully, he will soon come back to visit and reacquaint himself with the old elementary school gang again.

This next picture is Brent and his friend Wayne, snowmobiling in Revy,(Revelstoke) BC. Lots of snow there.

I wish I had a picture of Nathaniel to post in the blog. A great friend of mine, who like Brent, also moved to Alberta. Tan left in grade 8, but has been home many times to visit. This is a pic of his truck. I think he still has it, not sure though.

This is the cabin (chalet), that Brent, Tan, and Wayne stayed in when they went to Revy to skidoo. Nice chalet! Is that a case of Kokannee outside?!? Ha!

Another dream that ended way too soon
Left me lonely Waiting for the dawn

~~~~So murky, so blue, and so bright
In the rear view mirror I watch it glow
I can still see the wind and her golden hair
I closed my eyes for a moment I'm still there
Quotified or Clichefied!?!?!
...
"Creativity requires the courage to let go of certainties." -Fromm
"Give space to time, and time will fill space."
"We need not think alike to love alike."- David
"Love is patient, love is kind.
It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.
It is not rude, it is not self-seeking.
It is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
Love does not delight in evil, but rejoices with the truth.
It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
Love never fails." - I Corinthians 13:4-8
Nice to be Home!
Racing around town in cars, and partying all night.
Seeing old friends. And living the memories again.
Skip's bottle of 75.5% Rum. :)
Getting back into the skate routine. Meeting up with an old skate bud, blastin' Guns & Roses in the boombox, floating ollies off the launch ramp. Fuckin' Epic!!
Listening to country music too loud!!! HA!
The start of an excellent summer!
thats it thats all.
